Atlantic Coast Pipeline, trespassing: Anti-pipeline banner hung on private property
On December 15th, protestors trespassed and hung an anti-pipeline banner on the front porch of Heather Wood, vice chair of the State Water Control Board, after Atlantic Coast Pipeline proceedings in an attempt to intimidate her. Police told her about it during Tuesday’s proceedings and before the board voted on the Atlantic Coast project. Wood described the banner as being a highly inappropriate form of trespassing.
The Roanoke Times reported that after the vote on the Mountain Valley Pipeline, an opponent yelled out to board members, “We know where you live!”
